Frequently Asked Questions
No, we do not accept insurance because this is an elective, non-diagnosis ultrasound. Our ultrasounds are for keepsake and bonding purposes only.
Elective prenatal ultrasounds are non-medical ultrasounds that families can purchase as "keepsake" experiences to bond with their baby. Our state-of-the-art technology provides more detailed images and videos than may be available through medical prenatal care. Because non-medical ultrasounds are conducted to provide a memento of your pregnancy, they are done in a welcoming and relaxing environment.
Yes. Women seeking an elective prenatal ultrasound with us are required to have already been receiving treatment with a healthcare provider for prenatal care and that you have been given an established due date (EDD) by your Clinician. We do not contact your doctor prior or post scan since this is an elective procedure.
We encourage you to include them in a discussion of all aspects of your pregnancy, including if they have any objection to you having an elective ultrasound.
Please note, at no time is this elective ultrasound to be used in place of a complete diagnostic ultrasound.
Baby’s weight and size can only be determined with accurate measurements which are considered medical/diagnostic. The imaging sessions we offer are not considered medical procedures and therefore we will not be able to tell you the size of your baby or the condition of his/her health. Our sessions do not replace the regular prenatal care of your doctor.
Certainly not. Not in any shape, way, or form. While we offer a unique and memorable experience through elective ultrasounds, it is important to understand that these sessions do not replace the medical ultrasounds provided by your healthcare provider.
It is crucial to emphasize that our services are purely elective and should absolutely not be considered a substitute for the comprehensive medical care provided by your healthcare provider. Medical ultrasounds conducted by trained medical professionals serve a vital diagnostic purpose, enabling them to monitor your baby's development, and ensure the overall well-being of both mother and child.
We strongly recommend that you continue to maintain regular appointments and communication with your medical provider throughout your pregnancy. They possess the expertise and knowledge to evaluate your health.
Baby in Bloom 3D/4D Ultrasound is committed to promoting the joy and wonder of seeing your baby before they are born. We are here to enhance your pregnancy journey by offering you a unique glimpse into your baby's world. However, our services should always be seen as an elective addition to your comprehensive prenatal care, rather than a replacement for it.
Our Basic Ultrasound starts at 10 weeks and we require a full bladder to see your baby.
We also only use motion to visualize the fetal heart tone.
*Please note that our ultrasounds can only be performed on pregnant women who are under the care of a physician. This entertainment ultrasound session will not provide any assumptions, diagnosis, or medical input of any kind and is not intended to take the place of a diagnostic ultrasound or any other medical procedure(s) recommended by your physician or health care provider.
